About TaxiPilot

What is Taxipilot?

TaxiPilot is just a silly little game. It's based on what I remember of the Spacetaxi-game on the C64. The objective is to pick up passengers waiting on a number of platforms and to drop them where they want to go. That's basically it.

What do I need to run it?

Taxipilot is a KDE 3.x - Application. If you want to run it under KDE 2.x, you'll have to download version 0.7.2 or earlier.

What License is it under?

Taxipilot is licensed under the GPL.
Sourcecode is available via the Sourceforge project-page, or the author.

Who wrote it?

The game engine itself was written by Thomas Friedrichsmeier, who is also coordinating the efforts. However, Taxipilot would be nothing without good graphics and sounds. All the better looking ones were contributed. most noteably by Stefan F. Raab and Joe Bolin. Be sure to watch the credits on the start-screen of Taxipilot to see who designed the good stuff.

How do I get in contact?

There are several ways to get in contact with the people behind Taxipilot. The Sourceforge project page, lists a number of facilities, such as mailing lists, forums and a bug-tracker. If you prefer more personal contact, you can also contact me directly.

Please take the time to report any problems you find.
